Job Profile :
- Tax Compliance:
- Drafting submissions for assessment/reassessment proceedings and appearing before assessing officer and various other authorities.
- Vetting/preparing return of incomes for individuals, partnership firms, HUF, companies etc.
- Preparing letters and correspondences prepared for compliances to notices of department.
- Search & Seizure:
- Analysis of seized material, statement recorded on oath, etc.
- Drafting of submission and clarifications to summons received from Investigation wing.
- Representing before Investigation wing along with Managers/Partners.
- Drafting the submission in response to the notices received from Central Circle for assessments pursuant to search action.
- Representation before tax assessment unit along with Managers/Partners.
- Litigation & Representation:
- Briefing Managers/Partners for CIT (appeals), tribunal and high court matters.
- Drafting submissions and preparing paper books for matters before various appellate authorities.
- Thorough research for technical and legal issues in the appeal matters.
Other Prospects:
- Supporting Manager/Partner in day to day assignments.
- Solving day to day queries of client in consultant with Manager. Advisory assignments for allocated clients.
- Review of Tax Audit Report, etc.
- Technical updation, by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

Department: Audit & Assurance Services
Competencies:
- Thorough understanding of the auditing and accounting standards, Companies Act.
- Indepth knowledge and practical experience in "IND-AS".
- Should have basic understanding of Income Tax Act, FEMA, labour laws and GST Act.
- Should have handled audit assignments independently/as a team leader; preferably sectors such as manufacturing, real-estate, pharmaceuticals, infrastructure, logistics and Financial Services.
- Handling multiple assignments at a given point of time and multitasking.
- Managing a team of semi-qualified and articled trainees.
- Excellent presentation skills and English communication.

Experience bracket:

Job Responsibilities:
The incumbent is expected to work on various stages of the audit & responsibilities may include:
- To ensure compliance with established internal control procedures and to appraise adequacy of internal control systems by examining records, reports, operating practices and supporting documents and to recommend new policies and procedures.
- To independently finalize the financial statements and suitable disclosures in Notes to Accounts and audit report.
- To complete audit work papers by documenting audit tests and findings.
- Supporting the Manager/Partner in audit scheduling & planning and for various initiatives.
- To communicate audit findings, discussing findings with auditees and the immediate senior.
